How to reset the settings of SilverFast?

If you can close SilverFast and reopen it in order to get to the menu screen. On the menu screen, click on the “Service Dialog” tab on the bottom left. Then click on the red “Software Reset” button and place a checkmark in the empty box next to where it says “Remove Scanner Preferences”. Afterwards click start and perform a scan.
